Richard Levychin, CPA, CGMA is a partner with KBL, LLP where he is the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Emerging Business Group. Richard has over 25 years of accounting, auditing, business advisory services and tax experience working with both privately owned and public entities in various industries including media, entertainment, real estate, manufacturing, not-for-profit, technology, retail, technology, and professional services. His experience also includes expertise with SEC filings, initial public offerings, and compliance with regulatory bodies. As a business advisor he advises companies, helping them to identify and define their business and financial objectives, and then provides them with the on-going personal attention necessary to help them achieve their established goals.

He has written articles on a wide range of topics, which have been featured in several periodicals including Dollars and Sense, AARP, Business Insider, Black Enterprise Magazine, The New York Enterprise Report, the Journal of Accountancy, and The Network Journal. He has also conducted seminars on a wide range of business topics including SEC matters and taxation for several organizations including the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference and the Learning Annex.

Richard is a member of several organizations including the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals, the Association of Latin Professionals in Finance and Accounting, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a 418,000-member global accounting membership organization with members in over 140 countries. Richard is a member of the AICPA Council which is the AICPA’s governing body that takes actions which affect the AICPA and the accounting profession as a whole. Richard was a founding member of the AICPA's National Diversity and Inclusion Commission. Richard is a member and a board member of the New York Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization ("EO"), a dynamic, global network of more than 14,000 business owners in over 50 countries.

In 2018 Richard was a recipient of the 5 Chamber Alliance MWBE Award from the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. In 2016 Richard was presented with the 2016 Arthur Ashe Leadership Award. In 2015 Richard was presented by his alma mater Baruch College with the Baruch College Alumni Association's "Alumni Leadership Award for Business". In 2013 Richard received the title of Best Accountant from The New York Enterprise Report. Richard is a past winner of The Network Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” award.

Richard is a graduate of Baruch College, and started his career with a Big Four CPA firm.

Sanjay Singla, CPA, CGMA, MBA, MSC is an audit partner in KBL’s Assurance and Advisory Services Group with over 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing, business advisory services, and taxation. Sanjay oversees KBL’s Not-For-Profit Group. Sanjay started his career at Nestle, progressed to Pfizer, and worked at a Big Four CPA firm before joining KBL. Sanjay has a master’s degree in accounting and finance, along with a master’s degree in computer science, and a third master’s degree in marketing.

As an audit partner he works closely with clients in both the private and public sectors. His focus is on initial public offerings, SEC filings, taxation, and not- for- profit organizations. His expertise lies in conducting external audits to ascertain the validity and reliability of information that then provides the basis for an opinion on a company’s financial statements, and an assessment of its internal controls.

Sanjay is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

Sanjay is a proponent of giving back to the community. Accordingly, he contributes his time, money, and effort in assisting various non-profit organizations and provides accounting services to underrepresented communities.

Michael Pollack, CPA is the Partner-in-Charge of KBL’s audit quality and control, and the Partner-in-Charge of KBL’s Public Company (SEC) Practices Group. He has over 20 years of experience in public accounting and consulting to both publicly traded and privately held companies. He also has vast knowledge of capital financing, debt refinancing, strategic repositioning, development restructuring, and private placement offerings.

Michael’s specialties include reverse merger transactions and registration processes for the Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to joining KBL Michael had been a director in regional firms specializing in the development and growth of their SEC practice. He has directed various SEC engagements as well as financial service engagements as an auditor, and has been utilized as an outsourced CFO for a number of public companies all performed in accordance with the standards established by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. He has prepared numerous market and financial feasibility studies that have directly led to the raising of several billion of dollars in financing.

Michael graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.

Jon Stein, CPA is the Managing Partner of KBL's California offices. Jon has over 20 years of accounting, auditing, business advisory services, and tax experience, and has been involved in forensics accounting and turnaround engagements. Jon has worked with both privately and publicly held companies that are manufacturers, importers, retailers, distributors, and that are in financial services.

Jon's primary focus is on increasing profitability for small and middle market businesses. Jon is a graduate of California State University at Northridge.
